1. What we collect
Currently, this site does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The mortgage details you enter into the calculator (such as loan balance, interest rate, and remaining term) are processed entirely within your browser and are not sent to our servers or any third party.
2. Shared links
When you use the Share feature, your calculator inputs are encoded in the URL. Anyone with access to that URL can see those values. No data is stored on our servers as part of this process. You are responsible for choosing who you share the link with.
3. Cookies and analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies, does not track individual users, and does not collect personal information. It records aggregate data such as page views, referrers, and device types. It does not include your name, email address, or any mortgage details you enter into the calculator.
4. Third-party services
This site uses the following third-party services:
- Cloudflare — for hosting, content delivery, and privacy-friendly analytics. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — for loading the Inter and DM Serif Display typefaces. Google may collect standard web request information (such as your IP address) when serving these fonts.
5. Future changes
We may introduce features in the future that involve collecting or processing personal information, such as saved comparisons, user accounts, or personalised recommendations. If we do, we will update this privacy policy before those features are made available and, where required, seek your consent.
6. Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ), you have the right to access and correct any personal information we hold about you. As we currently hold no personal information, there is nothing to access or correct. Should this change, we will provide a clear process for exercising these rights.
